About Us

Blue Rose: That fateful day when we first met. Ahhh, I remember it like it was yesterday. Sora I were at a homeschool group meeting (Sora is homeschooled and I graduated from homeschool), when our moms introduced us. The friendship started with a conversation about Outlaw Star and Big O and the rest, as they say, is history. Literally.
Blue Rose: We're just going to summarize how we got into anime and then move on. It all started with Cartoon Network
Sora: Ahhh how we love Cartoon Network
Blue Rose: I had watched a little of Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z
Sora: it's Dragonblah Z (Sora doesn't like DBZ :P)
Blue Rose: But I didn't really get into the anime until that most wonderful of shows, Outlaw Star, came on *sniffs, it's just so beautiful, sniff* ........

We had to pause for an Oreo break *mmmmm, chocolate oreos, mmmmmm* and now back to your regularly scheduled web page.

Blue Rose: Anyway, Outlaw Star, Big O, Tenchi Muyo, and that other wonder of wonderful shows, Gundam Wing *sigh for Heero and Relena* officially started us on our way to becoming full fledged otaku. And now it's Sora's turn to talk.
Sora: Finnaly! :P For me, it all started with Sailor Moon (in fact, I'm wearing a rather old Sailor Moon t-shirt right now), then Pokemon (I was like 'Hey! Something about this show reminds me of Sailor Moon!' I think it was the animation). Then I saw Card Captors, which prompted me to get the manga Card Captor Sakura, so then I got the Rayearth manga cause it was by the same author. At about the same time I started watching Toonami again (Outlaw Star and Big 0). My obbsession snowballed from there and now I stand before you (well, sit in front of my computer) as a proud otaku.
Blue Rose (sometimes known as Blur. Sora: Lol!): I look back and wonder, deep and serious thoughts, like, why can't Tenchi pick one girl and send all the rest home, where in the world did they find that new girl to play Sailor Moon and is she taking helium annoyancy pills, the Dragonball people must have some sort of time dialation device that enables them to stretch 5 minutes over fifteen episodes, Heero is always trying to kill himself but he never actually acomplishes it and I think it's his subconcious love for Relena (Sora: There'd be no show if Heero died. Blue: This is true), why in the world did Hanmyo have to die (I just hate seeing a little boy's heart break *sniff sob*)
Sora: My turn My turn! Why was Candidate for Goddess edited for Toonami, but put on Adult Swim? (I missed out on a Yukiru Sugisaki anime!) And...the mother of them all...WHERE HAS KENSHIN WANDERED OFF TO?! COME BACK, MY DEAR SAMURAI! COME BACK!

*stares at that rather long rant, shakes head, then mumbles about there not being enough time in the world and enough space on the hard drive*

Little did anyone know that the loveable Sora was really a shinigami sent to steal their souls...
